Join the Okanagan Community Bat Program and bat biologists to learn about bats that use buildings. We will be covering:
- Best management practices that adhere to Provincial and Federal legislation
- Bat roosting behaviour
- How to assess the situation
- Options of managing bats in buildings: leave bats where they are or evict and exclude bats.
- How to evict/exclude bats
- Timing windows
- How to mitigate the loss of habitat if an exclusion is done
- Safety protocols
